In the70′s or 80′s, people had to juggle between washing and dry cleaning. Even when the phone rang, they had to get it by roaming to the fixed phone table somewhere in the living room. Not to mention you needed to go back and forth only to heat up your morning meals for your children or yourself.
The above are pictures of decades ago when people did not benefit from electronic and electrical appliances that much compared with today’s use. What benefits do we get from the appliances? Fast, instant, efficient, and all adjectives pertaining to are among others.
You have no more trouble doing your laundry. If I may say that doing laundry is just a button away giving comprehensive task from the machine to wash, spin, and even dry should the weather is not friendly. Or, Cordless telephone that can reach throughout the house makes your home living free and easy. In addition, a microwave helps a great deal of your rush morning activities.
Needless to say, mosquito repellent now comes electronically. With a shape of tiny racket, the mosquito repellent can sting mosquitoes just by smashing them onto the net of the racket.
Even needless to say, your intimacy with your spouse can be substituted by an electronic device driving you to the fullest imaginary ecstasy.
However, we should not always depend on the appliances and devices. You shall consider the energy used by those things. It is true we can be free and easy, but use them wisely & economically.
